Mission
Our mission is to be a home for competitive chess in the upper valley. While that includes Hanover, Lebanon/West Lebanon, and White River Junction, we aim to strengthen the network of chess tournaments across Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as the broader New England Northeast. Everyone is welcome at our tournaments and events, regardless of where you are from!
Upcoming Events
5/18/24 Action: UVchess's May Action will be held on Saturday, May. 18th, at noon! The tournament format is 4 rounds of swiss, each round starting on the hour. The time control is G/25 d5. Please try to register at least 2 hours before the event so that I can prepare tournament pairings in time; we will always aim to start at 12:05pm by the latest!
